KidZone Learning Center of College Church of the Nazarene is providing child care for the Homecoming & Family Weekend, by pre-reservation only, for alumni and friends attending events. Care hours for Homecoming 2017 will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11 and 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.
Care will be offered for children 8 years of age and younger. Infants through age four will be in the nursery area with toys and age appropriate activities. Children ages five through eight will be in the gym with supervised games, crafts, and other age appropriate activities including an inflatable bounce house on Saturday. Healthy snacks will also be provided.
Please pre-register to assure adequate coverage. Drop-offs will be accommodated only if space is available at the discretion of the person in charge.
Location: College Church of the Nazarene - Please use the entrance to the church that faces Sheridan Avenue.
Cost: The weekend times have been divided into sessions to cover the events where childcare is anticipated. Each session cost is $4 per child. The Office of Alumni Relations is covering the remainder of the expense. Purchase sessions in advance by scrolling down to KidZone Childcare among ticket options. Please order the number of sessions needed multiplied by the number of children needing care. The Alumni staff will follow-up by e-mail to verify what is needed and when.Sessions:
- Friday morning Chapel – Alumni Homecoming Lunch: 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Friday 4 p.m. Play Performance: 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday Departmental Breakfasts: 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Saturday Class Reunion Luncheons: 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Saturday 2 p.m. Play Performance: 1:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
- Saturday 5 p.m. Play Perforamnce: 4:45 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Food: Although we will have snacks available, it is important that you feed your children before dropping them off. NOTE: If registering for one of the lunch time sessions, please make sure to contact College Church at 208-466-8421 regarding any food allergies or sensitivies.
