The Boys Next Door

The Department of Communication Studies is pleased to present the funny, insightful, and poignant play The Boys Next Door, written by Tom Griffin. We are also pleased to once again have tapped the immense talent and experience of Mr. Rick Strader to direct. Originally an Off-Broadway hit, and later a Hallmark Hall Of Fame film, The Boys Next Door takes us into the world of four mentally disabled men living on their own in a shared apartment, and their relationship with their social worker Jack. Each of them, including Jack, must find a way to cope with life and its limitations, always in hilarious, sad, and inspiring ways. As you fall in love with Lucien, Norman, Arnold and Barry, you may find yourself seeing your own life from a new perspective. It will make you laugh, it will make you feel, it will make you think. We hope you'll take a few minutes of your homecoming weekend to meet, The Boys Next Door.
